Concert: Music Speaks of Amour

Amour (Love) is the theme for our February concert. Cleveland, Ohio-based violinist Andrew SORDS will be joining us for Pyotr Ilyich TCHAIKOVSKY’s Violin Concerto in D Major. Franz Peter SCHUBERT’s Rosamunde Overture and Robert SCHUMANN's Symphony No. 1 in B-flat Major, opus 38, "Spring".

This performance will feature the women of the KVSO Chorus joining the KVSO for Claude DEBUSSY’s Nocturnes. Bookending the Debussy will be Camille SAINT-SAENS’s Bacchanale from Samson et Dalila and Ludwig van BEETHOVEN’s Symphony No. 3 in E-flat Major, opus 55 “Eroica” (Heroic).
