SUMMARY:Concert: A Baroque Christmas
DESCRIPTION:Deviating slightly from our Music Speaks theme\, we will be offering A Baroque Christmas. Our own flute section of Stephanie LUPO & Clara CAPRIOTTI and concertmistress Rebekah COPE-EVERS will be appearing as soloists in J.S. BACH’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 4 in G Major. The KVSO Chorus will perform the entirety of Antonio VIVALDI’s Gloria in D Major as well as selections from G.F. HANDEL’s Messiah. The KVSO will also perform Franz Josef HAYDN’s Symphony No. 96 in D Major “The Miracle” and there will also be an opportunity for audience participation\, as singers\, during this concert. \n\n\n\n\nGet Tickets

Browse the elaborate dessert raffle table of homemade desserts made by the Symphony Women’s Guild members\, followed by a scrumptious dinner. \n\n\n\nThe Symphony of Sweets event is sponsored by the Kankakee Valley Symphony Orchestra Women’s Guild. Dinner menu choices include: Champagne salmon\, cranberry stuffed chicken thighs or pasta primaera (vegetarian).
